whats the best way to flush the cooler lines when the trans is out?

does your rebuilder have the areosols flush cans? if not, there's always solvent and blowing the stuff out in a reverse flow to what the oil normally flows.

Check with NAPA or a good parts place for the aerosol flush bombs.

Better off getting the flush bombs. You will never get the crap out of the cooler with a syringe.

Either will work. Mercon is the old stuff. Mercon V is the current updated stuff.

well I got a used jasper reman from a salvage yard for $600.00 just finished it up works good so far thanks to all that posted will let you know how it goes from here.
