Not too far from canyon lake, a ways west out of blanco towards stonewall.

No water in the intake/oil, just a rats nests in the intake (luckily the filter kept him out of the intake manifold... But you're right that the top of the intake was plenty rusted, it will be on the replace list.

Battery terminals aren't terrible, but I'm not a huge fan of the crust type, so trying to get new ones solder on before cranking it. I'll post a few pictures up tonight, not a lot of progress so far today.

Might of missed it reading the posts, but if your going to keep the engine and haven't turned it over yet, I'd remove the glow plugs to see if any water would come out of the cyl., thinking of the rusted intake air.
