I have looked at Rock Auto, Ebay and Google for the Rear High Mount Lamp. This lamp is on the outside of the cab, centered above the bed. When a door opens 2 white lights on either side light up and when the brakes are hit, the center red light comes on.
I was hoping someone here knew of a source for the whole light fixture.
While I am on this topic I think I might run into someone who has seen an overheated fixture or bulb. The bulb that lights the brake looks like it has overheated. It has like a blister on the bulb. The socket for that bulb is so is so overheated I don't think it would light a new bulb.
The other two bulbs, that light white when the door is open, have heated the plastic up to where it has sagged.
I have owned this truck for 7 years and have never replaced these bulbs and they have always worked properly. Has anyone else seen overheating around these bulbs?
Thanks,
