I'm so glad I was finished my bowl of ice cream before I read that. Chocolate chips would have been coming out my nose for sure had a spoon full been in my mouth when I read that..

I used only Ford parts, clamps included. Since I work for Ford, I try to use as many oem parts as I can. I turned it towards the firewall. I've had my share of those "pantload" moments before. As for EGT's, I have no clue. A pyro is on my shopping list of things to do before I put it on the road.

Well, finally took my truck to work. IP timing was way out. Set it to 9.3 degrees( i think), and it idles way better. Now i have to turn the pump back up. The black smoke is gone, so is the little knocking sound, and i'll find out in the morning if it starts without all the white smoke. Thanks for everyone's help.
