auto tranny ?

Will an auto tranny with overdrive out of a f250 gasser work ok in a 6.9 without overdrive? Is one heavier duty that the other or the same?

Whitestroker and I have a chance to buy an old parts truck that has been sitting for a couple years(?) that is supposed to have a rebuilt tranny and motor with roughly 35,000 for a couple hundred was wondering if it would be worth it

the bell housings are different so it wont bolt up, these diesels have there own pattern.

Ok I was think of manuals with removable bell housings

yep then you would have been fine, to bad....

Yeah, the M5OD-R2 and the ZF's are a one piece bell with the case.
