Post #7 explains it. The cap goes on after the wheel is installed and then it is held in place by the cosmetic bolt caps.

I'm so sure about that. My best friend has a set of REAL ALCOAS on his 97 f250 and the center caps push in from the back. The rubber o-ring you see is so they fit tight and dont rattle

Does he have any part numbers
?
Though the opening is probably slightly different with factory alcoas. I'll have to see and measure them once I get them home. Does he have the caps that say 'alcoa' on them?

Yes. Wheels have the Alcoa sticker and the center caps have the blue Alcoa medalion

Well, I will be getting the factory alcoas and the seller said he has the stud covers that go over the metal lugs. Post 2 of the link says that that is what you need to make it work on factory wheels.
