In My 93 ford I have 2 wires going to the a/c pump one is red the other is white or beige I can't tell. Does this mean red positive and white ground?

Thank You.

EZ, I don't know if the clutch is activated by grounding it, or by supplying voltage to it, but you should be able to tell with an vohm meter easily enough. Just set it to 12V, and see if either wire is hot to ground. If not, then set to ohms, and see if either wire is zero to ground. If you find 12 V, it works by getting ground through the controls. If you find ground, it works by getting 12V from the controls. So yes, your assumption is correct. One will be ground, and one will be 12 Volts.
