Apparently a company now makes an "AR Styled" rifle in 300 winmag... however MSRP is north of 15k. I'll pass. Lol

If I had that kind of coin (which I'm sure it'll sell for a good bit more then that).. I'd add a Barrett M95 to the safe. Been eyeballing one at a local shop... the AR-10 is much closer to the budget. Lol

I wonder if they make an AR platform that can be chambered in 300winmag...

This is the only one I know of. it is pricey but not $15k!! Also I have heard nothing, but amazing things about this rifle. apparently one of the most accurate ones out of the box out there. this is all hearsay though. I have no experience with it.

The overloads or the helper? I always called the helper the last one on the bottom of the pack not clamped with the others. The overload is on top. In any case I looks right to me. I had to stare at mine a while. those goofy spacers are shaped the way they are for a reason. I have no idea why they did that instead of just shaping the overload spring right and adding it to the pack.

Yes. The overloads. My bad.
They are angled, and forgot to mark them.
Oah well it won't change pinion angle so I'm good.

Got the truck back on the ground this morning.
Still need to find the torque for the hub nuts.
Right now they are loose just a tad.

Got a new windshield installed yesterday.
I've been goofin off with toys, I needed a break
From the truck. I was going stir crazy
Now I'm refreshed, and ready to bang this thing out.
Hope to spend the better part of the day on it.

beer O'clock update.
fuel tank is in.
i had to settle for the 33 gal tank i had.
i added a cross member for it when i installed it.
and i didnt have the guard for the bigger tank.
so no worries, ill use this one for now.
feed and return line are done.
i had to use some stainless steel braided hose from the tank to the fuel pump.
the rest is nylon braided line.
but the fuel system is done minus the new filter head. may install that too.

brake lines will be done today. main rear line is in, now i gotta send em to the wheels.

thought i was gonna have an issue with the clutch. i couldnt move the clutch fork with a pry bar.
but i got the new master/slave in, blead it, and it works fine!
installed transfer and started cleaning up drive shafts.

i pulled the bed off today, with the help of my employee as a spotter.
yea he's a tool, and not the usefull kind.
ended up denting the cab-cuss got it really good too.
more body work!
but now when i start mixin paint, ill spray the bed too.
i wont add the black line.

ran the speedo wire underneath.
gotta figure out a place to hook it up.
ill start another thread after i read and understand the isspro directions.

i plan on getting the firewall sterring hole covered up, and its time to install the front seat!
