what you have circled, is a dent, made by someone that beat the fender with something.
i still need to do filler work. but i wanted to get it all in primer before i did it.
the bondo i have goes on primer.
i still have the back panel to do.
but the goal was to get the bare metal covered, so i can do a final steam cleaning on the bottom before i paint that.
hope to have the bottom and the engine compartment painted and everything to the powder coaters by saturday!

its a single stage acrylic enamel.
it actually looks pretty good on the body when the primer is sanded.
i did the roof and the hood with it last year.
still looks good, its not the best, but its what i want.
going to be painting the upper body line black.
with black accents all around.

More.
Truck.
****.
A day of bondo keeps the dents away!
It's not perfect, but the major dents are out of it.
And that's how it will stay.
Next up is the dreaded bottom.
But I have the material to do it.

Really looking forward to seeing this all painted up. Those fender emblems will look awesome when it's done.

you and me both, i still have alot of work to do, as always, but its getting closer!
wont get to work on it today, im picking up my 41 :sly
the next thing to do is to strip the steering box, and anything else i can to steam clean and get ready to undercoat.
debating if i should do the axles first, or do the doors first.
but its finally showing progress!!

random thought,
do i paint the bodyline and the bottom of the truck black, or just the upper body line?

I've been debating this myself. I was planning a black pinstripe at the body line but I'm contemplating black raptor liner along the bottom. At a minimum I'm putting something like that on the rear fender wells because the first thing that happens is the paint gets blown right off that lower corner of the wheel arch. Wondering what it would look like all the way from the front fender to the rear from the lower body line down. In 91 my dad almost bought a red F150 with almost the same paint job. It was sharp.
