Hi Guys,

I have a 1986 F250 4x4, 6.9 with limited slip rears and manual front hubs. with 8 bolt hole, 16x6 steel rims.
I am wanting to get a spare set of wheels for winter tires and wondered if any of you knew what would fit the truck - other years if any ?
I have in the past tried other wheels that were supposed to be '86 but did not fit. Was there a mixed batch for the 86 trucks ?

Any info would be appreciated.

Thanks

most early 70's chevy rims should fit IIRC, and most dodge rims along with ANY 16x6 off a ford. we pulled the rims off my buddy's 99 F250 to see what they would look like on my truck, bolted up perfectly

come to think of it the chevys i tried were from a newer truck and wouldn't go over the rear hub

NO chevys will work--they all had the small center hole--dodges will work.. midnight said 99 would--they must have finally opened the center hole sometime---
