watch your tach when cranking the engine...if it doesn't show rpm, its most likely the cps...goto International for engine parts....much more reasonable....hth
I had a mystery vibration....'95 F250 EC...turned out the previous owner swapped out the rear yoke...it wasn't the proper yoke...got it solved...;))

DB has gone downhill with these starters the past few years...they are now being built in China, and the quality just isn't there apparently....my DB is going strong on year 5...built in the USA
buy the Stancor 586-902 or 586-903...remember...these NAPA GPR's are all 12 volt...the electrical on vehicles is closer to 14 volts...this is why these 12 volt GPR's fail after awhile...the Stancore carries 15 volts...hth
I have a prob with this....why re-invent the wheel???...the 7.3 is a solid platform...what you propose is to make it something it was not intended to be...but I suppose it will be interesting to see where you land on this project...good luck!!!
I did my injector o-rings the 2nd month I owned my truck(total diesel newb...but gasser friendly)...if you kin pull spark plugs you kin pull injectors...I "felt" it was gonna be a big job...but it was simple...as are most repairs are on these historic engines...;))

hold up there...Ford will charge you almost half the cost of a good scanner....they want 150 here in BC to scan my truck...I hung up...found a friend who's friend has a scanner...cost me 70 bux...I'll be gettin' an AE when I'm back to work...the first 2 fixes the scanner helps with will pay for...
it says diesel excluded on the packaging...I called the company hot-line yesterday...rep said its not for diesel because we never tested them on a diesel...kid was prolly poppin' a pimple as he read me the company "standards"...'s cool..I bought another gauge yesterday...will keep this unit for...
hello folks...I want to do a few mods to my '95 F250 PSD...one is the FPR mod...but I want to know where I am before the mod...I purchased one of these http://www.canadiantire.ca/home.jsp (search fuel pressure gauge...its the 25-1020-8)...then read diesel excluded....anyone know why???...maybe...
the tymar system is cheaper...you do it yourself....so you learn about your engine and components a bit....at the price of dealerships I tend to do my own repairs and maintenance....I've had my '95 since mid Sept...have swapped out GP/GPR, injector o-rings,starter, both batteries,oil...
I went to napa and bought the filter(6337) and a 45 degree piece of exhaust no part #'s but your local shop should be able to help ya...its a tight fit filter to 45 but a bit of dishsoap or grease helps...good luck ...you'll love this intake!!!
