When I am driving through town and I lightly put on my break I hear a loud clunk under the front end. It sound like it is coming from under driver side to middle and can be felt under passenger side also. Anyone have a clue? Everything looks and feels tight including shocks.
I'm thinking about a leveling kit by end of summer. I carry a lot of weight daily and would like to put air bags on to keep my truck level. What is the best brand?
Every once in awhile, my indicator will stay on even though the seatbelt is engaged. It will stay on like this for 2-3 days then go back to proper working order. This doesn't happen that often, only a couple times a year. What is the problem?
What kind of shocks are you using?
I use Rancho 9000's and love them. With the weight I cary, they give me a nice solid ride and no more overload slapping. When I unload the truck, I have a choice between 8 more settings. My settings are kept at, front on 5 and my rears on 8.
In the construction field, after many years of climbing in and out of the truck bed and hitting my head on the canopy header, I got smart. I purchased a BEDSLIDE from a local van conversion supply shop.
I cary 1200lbs of tools every day and this is also their rating. I had them double up on...

Spelling Edit by Big K, don't want us dodge boy's lookin like we caint spell. :D
Any reason why you shouldn't start your truck while it is plugged in?
Is extended plug in time bad for truck? If I don't drive my truck all day and it is cold out, I will leave it plugged in.
With the very cold weather here right now, the doors are freezing shut. Every-time I pull on them I half expect to rip the weather-striping off. I hear that spray silicone or Armorall will keep the ice away. Anyone tried these or anything else?
I need to put a tonneau cover on the wifes Dakota. I like THIS ONE from Pace Arrow. Does anyone have any experience with these? Are they worth the extra $?
What have you done?
I did the KDP fix because that is all we knew about at the time. If I had to do it again, I would do the tab fix. It seems that now with the tab there is less chance of failure in the future and problems during the fix.
For some people though:rolleyes:, this is all...
