    f150 8.8 outer pinion bearing removal and replacement

    I am working on my 1995 f150, and my outer pinion bearing is bad. I was wondering if it was possible to do the outer bearing without removing the carrier? Could I just pull the seal out and dig out the bearing? Or is the only way to remove the carrier. Thanks, any help would be greatly appreciated.

    question about heater hose routing

    i am going to be building an engine for a mud truck and i dont plan on running a heater core. i have heard some people say if you cap off each end of the water pump you may cause an air bubble and not cool properly. so do i just run a heater hose to the location of the heater core and loop it back?
