so my buddy is eliminating his efi and needs to kill the power to his fuel pump so he can use the one he bought, anyhow, what would be the easiest way to stop power from going to the fuel pump?

I had an 84 mustang with a throttle body 3.8. I took it out and put a 302 with a carb in it's place. I used the factory fuel pump. I had to put a "T" in the feed line. I drilled a hole through 5/16 bolt lenghtwise after cutting off the head. I used this for a restriction in the line from the "T" to the return line. It worked great.
