my 84 sclb, my dad had her for about 10 years. got it with 200k on it, now has rougly 500k+(hard to say) been the best pickup he has ever had besides his 67 chev c10, and that wouldnt do the work this baby does. im contemplating retiring the old girl, has a crack in the block right above the starter. we brought it into shop to fix injector leak, and newsflash they said i had a cracked block, lol we knew that already, been cracked 5 years. and they said with a crack in the block it loses pressure thats why it dies instead of the injector leak(i dont buy it) what you guys think? crack been there 5 years and the problems just occured now, so i doubt it. and heres a video of her runnin

That block crack will not cause the engine to run good or bad. That shop is full of lawn crap at a dog park.. I saw the video. Odd exhaust smoke. The white smoke could be unburned fuel. Whats the mileage on the injecter and the injection pump.
