    i used it to help start a few times. i have repaired my glow plug system, plugs, controller and new wires to plugs i highly recommend it.......its pretty cheap for what it does.

    i think they are supposed to be disconnected too. i am sure our trucks are hard on batteries. pushing eight cylinders at 22:1 compression has to be rough

    advance auto parts......bought two of these the end of september and the the recent jolt of cold when it was -15F, truck cycled glow plugs, and started after 2 secs of cranking and half throttle and i still have a couple fuel leaks to take care of. can't complain about that for a 1989 truck...

    the owner has clearly has no desire to sell it with that price. just keep it or put a price tag on it south of 8k. i have seen a real nice king ranch 2008 f350 i could have for 22k with a smidge over 100k miles. which one would you rather have?

    I haven't done any performance things to my truck yet, it does have new injectors and return lines. That was $220. New glow plugs, glow plug controller, glow plug harness $185 New external voltage regulator and wiring $30 I think I'm on my 4th oil change since buying it. $400 Dont use it...
