    Truck accelerates on rear tank.

    Cruising @55, both tanks full. Running on rear tank truck will accelerate for 1/2 a second. Like throwing a gas rag on the intake. Does it every half mile. Switch to front tank and it's fine. If it's sucking air, how does that make the engine rev-up? I parked on a clean slab last night and...

    Rear tank pick-up line.

    Ran out of fuel on rear tank. Switched to front and fired back up. Only took 11 gallons to refill rear and it holds 18. Can I put an extension on the pick-up line without dropping the tank? And exactly where is it?

    [/IMG] I think this 100 amp alternator on the 6.9 will work in place of this piss-ant in the 7.3 but the plugs are different. Can i just cut the ends off and bolt them on? Hope I did the pic thing right.
