OBS bigger capacity fuel tank options?
I have the superduty midship 38 gal tank mounted on my pickup. It takes modifying the tank so that it doesn't conflict with the shocks. I heated mine up, & pushed the corner in to modify it. The tank leaked after that until I used an HDPE extrusion welder to seal it up. I also had to modify the...- perk

The tabs for the sender moved between the model years. You just need to cut for you tab orientation. I bought the one from rockauto because that one is NOT galv.- perk

Will my dana 44 hold up to a 7.3
The axle from the 88 f350 should be a solid axle Dana 60. The pumpkin is in the wrong place to fit the older frames. If it is the ttb Dana 50, don't waste your time. Unless you abuse it ( wheelin', etc) it should be just fine.- perk

40/20/40 Console Repair
The plastic console top is nearly broke off my middle seat. The plastic isn't broke, just the mounting tabs. Has anyone repaired one of these? What did you do.- perk

86 F350 powerstroke
You can keep the original tach. Just setup something as a tone ring. I had the damper on my 24v machined with small grooves to act as the tone ring and mounted the idi tach sensor on a bracket.- perk

Parting 1990 F350 crew cab - good body - what do you need ?
I am looking for the wiring harness for the cab clearance lights that plugs in near the passenger footwell and powers the clearance lights on the roof. If you want to throw in the lights as well that would be OK.- perk

I am working on building a barcket so that it is mounted on the drivers side. My air filter occupy's the the area where Ford put it. My truck is a '94 so it never had one. In my mom's '98 F150 it is mounted a 2 inches above the radiator. I want to see if it is the same for the Powerstroke. I...- perk

Don't give up on it that easy. Even if it turns out to be an ip they aren't that hard to change. I think the first time I changed one it took 5-6 hrs. Now I can change one in about three hours. Not only that the parts are so much cheaper compared to newer rigs.- perk

1996/1997. I think that some of the 1995's had the pressurized reservoir instead of just an overflow bottle and no filler neck on the radiator.- perk
