    Just what I needed!

Thanks guys. Well after one gallon of high build primer, some scotch-brite sanding pads, a half roll or paper, two rolls of tape and one gallon of Rustoleum hammer coat silver paint it is driveable. I may paint the mid section black in a few weeks but for now I like it. It turned out alot better...

    Just what I needed!

Thanks guys, I have installed and aligned the doors and fenders and mounted the visor . Now it's off to be stripped and I have a few days of sanding to do. I have decided not to go overboard with this one and to paint it in Rustoleum hammer coat silver with the midline in hammer coat black...

    Just what I needed!

Another project. Went down to the junk yard this weekend to help process cars for the crusher and when opening the hood to cut the battery out.....I found two.;Sweet The truck had been sitting for 6 weeks and I really did not expect it to start but after the GP light went out, the 6.9 did not...

    My cb!

7.3 IDI, The Cobra 29 is a classic performer that with a few upgrades makes for a simple good performing and reliable radio. Here's a little something I picked up along the way. 2 antennas for the cb will only really be beneficial if you can get them spaced at least a 1/4 wave apart (approx 9ft)...

Help please, What years visor will fit what years trucks?

That is correct except for the F150 and a few F250's. 97 was the change over year but, the 350's carried the same body style thru 97..

    a little educational video

Yes and no, Replacing bolts with studs will cause minor distortion but, not close to enough to worry about unless it's a max effort all out racing high RPM application, The vid shown what most people never see but fails to say most machine shops do not go through the trouble to do it correctly...

Lookie at what i may get ahold of in time =P

The man must be a good judge of character and know you were not helping him for return but out of kindness, or you most likely would not be in mind for that car. I too have a soft spot for mopars. I recieved my addiction to speed from a 70 340 Duster. Not nearly as nice as that Runner but it was...

    a little educational video

Very true. Sad to say but now days 90% of builders/performance shops either don't know or wont go through the trouble to do correct machine work. Bill sounds like he had a clear edge over most of todays builders. What did he run?

Glow plugs working. Wait to start light still on/off quickly.

When you were "repairing your glow plugs" What were you doing? Did you wire up for push button start and bypass the relay?

Glow plugs working. Wait to start light still on/off quickly.

That is a sign of your GP system working as it should. Usually about an 8 second burn followed by the afterglow cycles.
