I just rebuilt the motor with most new stuff. New heads, arp studs, new beru glugs, .40 over mahle pistons, good head gaskets, milled the exhuast manifolds flat to run no gaskets, new injection pump, new fuel pump(mech.). How much boost?
How much boost are you guys making with the hypermax system? Just wondering, becuase I just got mine running and the guages hooked up and the most I saw was around 8psi. I'm still breaking the motor in and no load behind it. Is this normal? I was just hoping for a little more.- hotford

I welded it on last night. Thanks for the help though. I really don't have the money to fix it with the large kit and didin't feel like pulling my steering colume agian, I just got it back in when I saw this. I welded pretty good. Firewall Help?
Whats the part number for the small and the large repair kit? And Who has the best deal on them? My firewall is cracked at both mounting holes for the clutch master and the pushrod is halfway worn through and the pin on the pedal is half gone. Good find. Thanks for the help- hotford

Fixed it. The turn signal switch did fix the brake pedal and turn signal problem. Now it starts and run fine. Thanks- hotford

So I went and got a new turn signal switch and pulled the wheel. I get it apart and they gave me the wrong part. Mine mounts with two screws and the one they gave me mounts with three and doesn't fit due to the key cylinder area. I'll try agian. I really hope this is the problem. I didn't...- hotford

So your talking about the connector under the steering wheel. To get to it you have to remove the wheel. So this is a common problem? Is it possible to fix it somewhere else? I have power all the time on one side of the brake switch. I think this is correct. As pressure is appiled to the brakes I get power to both sides and it goes in to the steerring colume harness. This is when the trouble starts(I think). When I push the brakes I got power on two other spots...- hotford

I checked the link above to try and find a better wiring diagram. There you have to pay $10-$12 for the book and I got to wait for it to show in the mail and then I donm't even know if it has what I need. Anybody know of a place on the internet where I can see these online?- hotford

Yes, with the brakes it doesn't need the key. Hit the brakes alone and it starts, no key. With the turn signal the key must be in use. Where does the start wire cross the stop wire under the dash and what colors are they? I could really use a good color coded dash wiring diagram, or...- hotford

I pulled the #1 fuse and the flasher relay, and now it dosen't turn over when I turn right or hit the brakes. Didn't fix the problem, just covered it up. Also before I hacked up the wiring I install a new borguson steering shaft. I don't think this would cause any effect, but at this...- hotford
