    I guess where I am struggling is from what I gather, the 1990 should have the early kit. Mine does not. So does that mean the previous owner changed some other bits like those brass fittings to accommodate the later kit, or rigged something up to make it work. I'll get into it this weekend...

    How interchangeable are parts for these trucks in close model years? Meaning, I have a 1990 F250 7.3idi - would a 1993 F350 7.3idi be a suitable parts vehicle or are there too many differences beyond the motor? Or should one stick to the same model year for parts?
