hey everyone im towing a '89 CCD using a class IV BLUEOX tow bar.

Today im fabbing up a mount to replace the front bumper on the towed vehicle.

Its an 89 and my truck is a 93

MY QUESTION: Are the 89 and 93 front bumper mounts identical?

Did they ever change the front bumper mounting design or placement through the years? and if so when?

Im building the mount on my 93 and the truck is 2 hours away so id hate to get down there and have a surprise. I plan to use this on many more trucks so if there is any difference even in the early trucks id value knowing.

thanks everyone!

At this point, I'm thinking you'd be better off hauling it on a trailer that has brakes.
I wouldn't trust the factory mounting on any of these generation ford trucks.
