WTB commercial VHF 136-174 MHZ

Hello,

As a new SAR manager, I am looking for a (hopefully inexpensive) VHF commercial mobile radio 136-174 MHZ. A decent handheld would also be considered.

I would take a minimum of 128 channels, though I would prefer 256 - 512 would be best.

Here in Canada, as a HAM I don't want to loose my license transmitting out of band, thus the need.

Anyone?

How do you find those units? Are they any good? I need a mobile unit for in the truck for more power...but as a hand held I had considered those, just didnt know anyone who has one.

yes that wouxun is the bomb alot of the hams here love it, any ham shop should be able to get it. I think the kitchen sink is the only thing it don't come with?
