well, finally the rear left wheel cylinder just gave way completely.
don't have the time/place to repair, so I blocked off the brake line to that wheel.
Been about 9 months since I had to work on my truck, guess I'm due.

I did that many years ago with a Mercury Bobcat (Pinto). Every stop I'd pull the parking brake to get the rear braking....
