powerstroke 7.3 non intercooled

anyone change injectors? Do I need the 235 dollar tool to perform the changeout? Replacing uvch ,glow plugs. injectors i have $295 new aa single shots from a stanadyne dealer.........................?

I changed 1 by myself, no tool needed. I suppose if you have some sticking issues, a tool might be needed.

I seen the tool in a diesel magazine. i figured i could use a bolt?

there is a spec ford/otc tool but for years i used a wonder bar, but now I have a special pry bar.

I've done 3 sets & never needed anything special. Like Double S said, use a small prybar. That's all I've ever used.
