Oh, you need to lookup Geonc

Wood butchering at it's best. McMansion custom built stair cases was what he did. He is now floating in the Gulf on a tug. Not on here too much but is still on FB. He went to the darkside years ago. Does a mean hog roast, though. The first GTG I went to was his backyard - Travis, Eric Boutin, Mel ...good times.

I did some custom staircases, but mainly things like crown moldings that consisted of 5 layers. It could drive you bonkers. I worked on the SF Peninsula, in Cities of Los Altos and Los Altos Hills, Palo Alto, Atherton, Los Gatos and sometimes in San Francisco.

I have done three layer crown and I know what you mean. It can get confusing at times. But I love doing it and the feeling you get when you look at it when you are done and know you did that.
