I bought 8 lug hubs for my mobile home axles and they went right on, about 50 bucks per hub bearings included. Good find for a clam, worth that much just to scrap it. Tell the guy it took 50 bucks worth of fuel to move it plus the tires you brought.

where did you find those?
I thought about $100 to haul it off for him and $100 for my brother to help me. he did most of the tire changing!

I just find it strange that trailer axles can't be on trailers? Northerns??

They're considered one time use axles. Use them
to move the mobile home from A to B. Only the
one axle has brakes instead of both of the axles
is one of the issues. I think they make good
trailers, but the DOT don't seem to be on the
same page as the rest of the world.

I built a trailer over 20 years ago with 2 mobile home axles. That was many miles, many tons, and several sets of tires ago. tell the DOT to go flour their nuts.
