not japanese made. they would never have produced a truck this thirsty.
its got six rubber tires.

Didn't spend much time on it, but the valve covers remind me of the later Scania engines.

It is a Russian military truck. Mostly used in the DDR(?) region.

Kraz 255 Cargo. Engine has around 350 BHP I think.

Forget about trying to read the engine data plate. Its all in Russian (Cyrillic).

either you really know your military trucks or google is your friend :D
this one was stationed in east germany and wound up in England years later when the walls came down.
