I managed to put a hole in my fuel tank last night (found out when I noticed my truck was parked in a puddle) any way this will be the 3rd time this year that I've had to drop the rear tank, so what should I do to it while it's out, I plan on instaling a skidplate, because I'm tired of cleaning the parking lots with my fuel, and would like to do the filler mod so I can use the big nozzles and fill faster, but I can't find much info on it. From what I've found you just remove the inner filler, and the little metal restriction, then put a bigger breather in place of the roll over valve, can some one shed some light on this?

when I did my bronco rear tank swap I bored out the neck and went with a 1" vent....I also used the bronco tank skid plate.

Full open with a truck stop nozzel is not an issue
