First tow with the blue 97

We went camping this weekend and towed our fiver with the blue 97. The CG was only 38 miles away, but it was a "Shakedown" tow for us. After having towed this fiver with the 2005 F350 and the 94 F350, this was the best towing experience yet.

The fiver weighs in around 11,500lbs and was way too much for the 94 PSD. The 05 was a short bed and didn't feel stable at all, while towing. This truck has the cat delete and water injection, and I was able to keep the EGT's at or below 1,100*.. The only places I had any kind of issues, were the hills. I don't expect this truck to maintain the speed limit on hills and I can live with that.

Once I get the DP installed and the EBPV butterfly removed, I'm hoping to get the EGT's even lower. We had a great weekend!

What kind of downpipe does it have? I bet you could see a large drop if it's te stocker.

Until I get more pressing issues tended to, the truck still has the stock DP.
