Use this for primer,(its like magic, promise) just go over stuff with a wire brush, it actually works with rust; if the metal is cleaned too much it's less effective. Which means less prep work!

I used Rustoleum on my 93s underside and frame way back in 02-03 when i was bush wackin it and nary a problem with it chipping or coming off. I just power washed it real good, used something like POR-15 marine clean first and after it tried Rustoleumed it. Now, after 8 or 9 years its finally starting to come off.

I also do that with an fuel tanks i replace and never had an issue since, and i did quite a few (two on my 93, one of my dads 95, and several for friends). Make sures its the oil based enamal paint, in the white can.
