Painted the base of the trucklite cab lights.

Well, it's close enough I gotta let you have it.

I had aftermarket roof lights that were discontinued in my area. I needed a couple bulbs that you can but anywheres, but I also needed 3 lenses...one cracked and two melted.

So I go up home, tear a factory harness and lights off of a 1990 F350 and put them on my F250 in place of the old ones. I JUST put silicone on them to keep the water away from my new CB and interior. ;Sweet

THANK GOD. those others look like chit

I agree!!

Tomorrow I want to get the fenders primered and pained blue to match the body. Then hang the F350 XLT badges on the fenders.

I was gonna do it today, but it was almost 92*F today!!! Better than -30*F in the winter I guess....

Now that I look again I had the before and after backwards anyway... LOL

I was happy to see the factory 89 cab lights were a standard issue setup that is only $5.65 at the local truck shop. :D When I put the 92 cab on the truck this summer I'll be using the 89 lights. I have to agree the later ones are just fugly.

The 81 that I parted and the 92 cab that I picked up both/had have different longer more rounded lenses and different bases. Maybe someone changed something along the way eh? All I know is the trucklite ones on the 89 look good. :D

Agreed...WAY to close to the windshield. They might get moved when I paint it...fill the holes in and put the lights where they should be.

This is how I had my F150 done. I may do my truck like this with the center lights about 8 inches apart on center, but space the lights away from the glass a little more.

Did you back into the wall? :rotflmao

Nope...but I wouldn't want to put my fingers on the bumper while I am backing in...cause they would get squished. I drive a big rig for a living, and 50% of it is in reverse in places you shouldn't put a smart car lol.

As I tell the women...I am VERY good at putting big things in small places :sly
