I switched out to the Hella glass lenses with (iirc) H4's, nearly 10 years ago. I run the standard low beam, but the HO Highs, (100 watts). Best upgrade ever, the throw pattern on the Hellas are awesome. I don't know if it's the glass or what, but I like the throw better than alot of newer vehicles. I haven't replaced any bulbs, even while off roading, rolling and swapping bodies, and now regulated to plow duty.
