Hi my name is josh ok so im new to this site but this is the main problem i have. im getting an 89 f250 4x4 7.3 idi zf5. this things got no rust im picking it up for 1200 bucks. the problem with it has been reoccurring though. the farmer im getting it from said this has happened 2 times, the second time he just parked it. it started to shake real bad and heard a crack. he looked under the truck and the case that connects the tranny to the transfer case is cracked around totally. the shaft it surrounds is fine which is the shaft the connects the tranny and the transfer case but the case around that shaft broke. could this be wrong sized driveshaft or whats your opinions or if this has happened to anyone else? greatly apprieciated!
