    I like 2 stroke oil especially if you are running K-1. It raises the BTU's, adds some lubrication and enough of it will raise the HP.

    Whoa. While I can't speak for this application the rule around here is "anybody but Safelite" and I deal with hundreds of body shops. They all bitch that its cheap Asian glass. I just put a windshield in through one of my body shop buddies and heard it all over again.

    This might be the plan because a muffler delete pipe new is $60 if I recall. I bought mine used for $30 to the door.

    Make sure you have a pan that can accept a high volume of oil at a time. A dime or quarter size drain hole in a typical plastic pan is not sufficient and you'll find yourself plugging the pan hole with your finger to allow the top of the pan to drain. Trust me. LOL

    I did it on my 03. It sounded good IMO, EGT's dropped a little (75 degrees maybe?) and it seemed like it spooled up slightly faster (but nothing like the turbo response of adding an exhaust to a 7.3). I would do it again and well before I dropped $400+ on an exhaust system.

    The 6.0 is a cartridge filter that sits on top of the motor much like a BMW or VW.

    Tim, dump the piece and get a Dodge like every 5th PSD owner is at the moment. Easier and cheaper to mod plus its a proven motor that's been around the block a few times. I can't wait for mine...... Either that or get an 03 7.3.
