    Jake S your last sentence explains what I have been saying. The higher flowing turbo is better, because it flows equal amounts of air at lower psi. The bigger turbo packs more punch per psi.

    look it over top and bottom. Drive it, see how well it shifts, try out the 4wheel drive make sure everything works and find out what doesn't. Try looking at it early(cold weather) and see how well it starts. Check the oil, coolant, and trans fluid. Just the usual stuff.

    Are you assuming that both turbo's flow equal amounts of air when you calculate that? I would think just for an example if the turbo you run only puts out 500cfm vs. 800cfm it would skew the comparison some. IDK thats why I ask. What do you think?

    BowTech FTW. To the OP, you can have the injectors re-built by Jim at DIY injectors, I won't quote prices just send him an e-mail. You might also try cleaning the IPR. Like the others said, check the glow plugs.

    Good to know, I had always thought that the stocker supplied enough for even a turboed truck. So does your truck still smoke at 12psi? If it does, doesn't that mean its not burning what being provided already?
