    Intake Valley Pan Gasket Set

They were around that much some time ago and the cheapest felpro gasket on eBay is around $300 now , so you could still make big buck back and tasca is OEM...

    Intake Valley Pan Gasket Set

Actually shipping wasn't too bad, only around $75 with FedEx. Was pleasantly surprised about it even though it's kind a big package, took about 6 business days to arrive...

    Intake Valley Pan Gasket Set

Have to bring this up and thank the OP, Tascaparts.com came through and they did have the gasket. Can't beat the oem Ford part

    Intake Valley Pan Gasket Set

They sure did go fast. fordpartsgiant already says discontinued, o'reilly gives 404 error. Tasca has it still available for order, but I don't really think they have it in stock either, they would probably tried to order it from the manufacturer, and in those situations I have had a bad luck...

    CA Conversions Allison trans kit

Nice project ;Sweet, have thought of the doing the same many times. Cost of doing so is something that for me is too big of an investment. But out of curiosity, do you plan on using stock or modified Allison and 5 or 6 speed?

    Block heater thought?????

Not in an IDI, but i have similar type of 1000W engine heater in my Crown Victoria than in this link https://www.vvkb.com/engine-heater/titan-p3-diesel-engine-preheater/. I installed it to a hose that goes to heater core and have been there for a three years now. It has built-in water pump...

Can I replace my CDR valve with an oil catch can?

Yes, mostly annoying job because of messiness and with all the cleaning. I thought of taking ps pump off, but then lifted the engine from drivers side. Hopefully i'll get it back on during next weekend and with paper gaskets... Good to know! After resealing, i think i'll try the provent again...

Can I replace my CDR valve with an oil catch can?

Maybe i'll give it a try and gut the old cdr i have laying around and put back the provent again, since it does better job than Mishimoto. Even though it's a real pain to change oil cooler seals that i'm doing at the moment... Looking at the o-ring condition though, i'm surprised it lasted this...

Can I replace my CDR valve with an oil catch can?

While on the subject, what do you guys think. Should there be any problems running the provent200 together with the original cdr valve? While i installed the intercooler, i installed a provent also. Summer went and didn't notice any problems. Then winter came and suddenly oil cooler is leaking...

    Intercooler sizing

I put CSF 6028 (https://www.rockauto.com/en/moreinfo.php?pk=8613076&cc=1432134&jsn=1777), see dimensions on that rockauto link. It's a tight fit, wouldn't imagine that you can go much bigger than that. It is very robust and heavy compared to oem...

    -40 winters and starting

I've had 5 kw Eberspächer for over a 10 year now, which equivalent to Webasto. That might be enough for a smaller engine to heat in those temperatures, but these are heavy engines with a lot of coolant in them so it doesn't really get the engine hot as the smaller engine. If it's very cold I...

    Starter upgrade?

Yes the 9051 will work, I have it in my truck. I bought it just because I couldn't find 9050 locally, but 9051 was available with good price. Before I bought it 2-3 years ago I asked Powermaster tech support that will it work or not and here's their answer,: "The 9051 is the same starter as the...

    Starter upgrade?

Also Powermaster 9051 will work if you find a good deal for it as I did. It's for Powerstroke and it comes with a spacer and a set of new bolts. Starters are the same, just leave the spacer off and use the original IDI starter bolts...

    Stock Brake Pedal behavior

My brake pedal goes slowly down also when running and it has been like that for ages. Other than that the brakes work as they should and they go through yearly mandatory inspection here and have passed, so i haven't been very concerned about it. I did once looked for a solution and found this...

Best IDI electric lift pumps + Specs

What do you guys think about R&D fuel pump/filter setup? Is it worth the money and is the pump itself a long lasting unit? I'm thinking of relocating the stock filter to get cleaner looking IC pipes and engine bay. Also what do you think about not having a filter heater. If the weather gets bad...

    Aftermarket gauge ideas. 6.9 & 7.3

Is that Jeff guy and that performance digital gauge the same? Their work looks the same. Glad that someone is doing this kind of inventing for these trucks too... @dkleind0110, that radio, what model it is?. I've been thinking of buying sometime like that to mine also. Would be great to be able...

    Aftermarket gauge ideas. 6.9 & 7.3

Sorry to hijack the thread, but have similar question. Does someone have any experience on Performance digital gauges? They only seen to have Facebook page which I can't use or contact, since I'm not on Facebook. https://m.facebook.com/performancedigitalgauges/?ref=page_internal&mt_nav= . They...

    Emergency brakes engage spontaneously

One thing I've learned over the years driving with my truck is to use Motorcraft parking brake cables. Rear cables will be ok for sometime if you use aftermarket cables, but big no for the cable from the pedal. I've tried Raybestos and ac Delco and both lasted about 5 times until they started...

    Radiator question

Just put a Mishimoto in mine. Glad to hear that you've had great experience with it. Can't give any user experience yet on how it works, since i've only bled the system and not driven it a single mile yet. Seems like a good radiator, but i don't like that at least the one i have doesn't have a...

Salvage for coil spring axle swap

How could i forgot the car-parts, been there many times. But seems like they're more like parts search, couldn't find a whole vehicles. Did some research and looks like i just have to find a deal from copart or their broker pages like https://www.autoauctionmall.com, https://abetter.bid or...

Salvage for coil spring axle swap

Hi, So I've been thinking back and forth about how to make ride comfort a bit more nicer. Wouldn't really matter if the roads here were good enough, but they are getting worse and worse every year. I've already swapped to d60 which was a huge improvement over d50 ttb. So I've thought a lot about...

    Front tank question

Just a couple of weeks ago i changed the front tank on my F250. Exactly the same symptoms as yours and leak from same place. F700 cab

I think so too that those weld seems are very odd, but judging by the look of them, they have been there for a long time. If not Centurion then someone with good skills have made the modifications, because the sheet work and those welds doesn't look bad at all. Autumn is coming here and hope it...
