Thanks!

Ahhh, did not know that. I am so used to working on my gassers, getting oil all over with the covers off made me make a set with acryllic tops so that I could watch the valvetrain.
I would agree with the above....you may also have gotten a piece caught up in one of the springs and it may not be allowing the valve to fully open or if caught between springs it could also be hanging the valve open.
Gaskets are cheap compaired to replacing a head....check it before driving...
Housing and impeller blade.
Oil line connector???? If you have a holset turbo on it now, you better have an oil line to it.......maybe I have misunderstood your question regarding it.
Unless, you are talking about the turbo housings that have the elbow connected to a hose that goes to the...
Are the lines from both tanks to the switch hard or can you use any off the shelf?
Haven't gone through them yet and was just wondering if there was a "complete" fuel line kit for the entire truck.
HX35 bolts right up and there's several companies that make an upgrade kit for a couple hundred (or less) to make it a hybrid.
ps....once you start fueling her and getting more air in, you can ditch the muffler for more power as well...
Nope, fella took his '96 out to the mudpit and hydroliced the motor and had water through the tranny.....paid him $200 and took everything...wiring, dash, seats...all but the sheetmetal and running (non) gear.
took 2 days to clean everything and a weekend to get most of it mounted. will be...
looks like I'm not gonna finish the conversion before winter sets in....but my 6.9 idi is going to arrive next week to go into this 1980 Bronco....then I will be able to give you guys vids of all three oiler's crankin at below zero weather.
BTW.....a '96 Eddie Baur interior will work in a '80...
Well, I've got to hand it to you for living dangerously.....I would have pulled the block as that piston has taken quite a beating. Did you drop the pan and pull the cap off that rod to see if there's bearing damage at least? You have to remember that the bearings are softer than even the...
Nah, swapping the columns out (provided you have keys to both) is about a hour and a couple of brews. Best time to put the block plate in the dash cluster is when you have the column unbolted. Reason for the advice on ease of installation of the clutch pedal assembly is with the column out you...
always wanted a dually and I commute approx 120 miles daily. My 4.6 F150 gets crappy gas mileage and I am 6'5" tall. I don't fit in much else and after finding out that I can have the power needed to tow, get good fuel mileage and still roast the tires......
Go with a BHAF, grind the fuel pin and install a 3600 gov spring. That should be enough to start you on the way and won't cost more than $60. After that,
