    this is a 2015 post man. His transmission shop probably didnt get the clutch clearances correctly. he says it only happens when it's hot.

    Not sure how bad I'm damaging the rear main seal or something in the engine by yanking in it like this but I'm sure it's not good

    The transmission is out yes. I'm upgrading all the parts to 4r100 specs with triple disc converter. I'll find a tight fit pipe. When I put the input shaft in there, it feels like it's not grabbing anything. The flex plate can bend like an 1/8 inch away from the converter.

    I was actually reading up on your rebuild. How do you feel about the rear planet 6 pinion? You had to use the stamped hub with it? I feel like the 4 planet aluminum with the cast steel hub works better.

    Waste Motor Oil Distillation?

    I've looked it up before. lots of videos online. Unless fuel goes up to 7bucks a gallon, to me, its just not worth it right now. The time I spent collecting oil and just centrifuging it is not worth my time. Relatively speaking, my time is expensive.

    I havent tried adjusting it. It was raining last weekend and the truck needs to run for a living. Ive been downshifting manually for now but Ive been getting terrible mileage for a while now.
