No electrical power at all
I have an 89 7.3 idi. I was driving it one day and it just quit on me. Everything just went dead no electricity. Dead. What would that be?- Beefguy

Still has a knock to it?!
1989 7.3. Still has a knock after I replaced injectors and IP. Also replaced oil cooler. Sounds like passenger side down low. Replaced glow plugs as well. Starts great runs strong. Knock seems louder after warmed up. Kinda bummed. Didn't want to have to get into it this far.- Beefguy

Replaced injectors and IP now won't shut off?
I replaced the injectors and IP today and started the truck now when I turn key to off the engine won't shut off. Still seems to have knock too. Any help is appreciated.- Beefguy

Knocking 1989 7.3 idi. Help!
I have a 1989 7.3 with 189k on it. It was starting hard so I replaced all glow plugs and that solved the hard start. It has a knock to it that I'm not sure which direction to go.. the oil pressure gauge reads low. Doesn't smoke, power seems good, and doesn't use oil or antifreeze. The gauges...- Beefguy
