    What would cause, and what might be the remedy for weak brakes? Note that this only occurs when it is cold and it is first started. And by weak I mean almost nothing there, nothing. As soon as it warms up, voila I have brakes again. Disconcerting when I go to stop and it just keeps rolling...

    I don't have a picture, it does have cooling fins on the outside, I do remember that. Maybe two bolts for it< maybe three? The top one adjusts the belt tension Shawn

    92 7.3 idi, called the auto parts store to see if they had one. He says they have several for that year? Why? It has the vee belt running to it. I am at work and don't have a picture.... arghh He says some have internal and some have external regulators. Any advice from the experts here...

    Got it out and cleaned it, it made no difference. Amazon wanted 66 for it, the auto parts place wanted 130. Wow. Thanks guys. So far I am loving the truck. Shawn

    Brought home a 92 7.3 idi last evening. He noted the tach would just go to zero at lower rpms which could cause issues when in 3rd and 4th gear. As I drove it home I saw it would just drop off to zero when I let off the fuel. Is this a sensor issue of some type or am I in for a lot of work?

    92 2wd 7.3 front axle swap

    New to the forum. I am looking at a 92 7.3 dually crew cab 2wd automatic, reported to have 50k miles on it, the body is amazing. I have a 90 f350 with a dana 60 and a 4 speed with OD manual. How hard would a swap into the 92 be? Thank you
