can i add a third or even forth battery ?
it isnt just a cold start problem,it turns over the worst after driving for awhile.it starts first thing in the morning best!all conections are clean and tight.I could probably use new battery just cant realy afford it. it is like the baterys are weak when its warm but i dont think thats it or...- triverrat

can i add a third or even forth battery ?
Ya i cleaned all conections and changed a cable it does start better. but from time to time after driving 20 miles or more i turn it off and try to restart it and it will barely turn over.but if its been sitting an hour or so it turns over and starts.any idea what could cause that?- triverrat

besides the starter, where all do i need to run power to start truck?
i have a 1987 f350 one ton 4x4 with a 6.9 diesel had someone trash my truck flat tires and pulled wires .ive got it to turn over. the glow plug light comes on and goes off like it used to,and im getting gas but it wont fire. it had been starting real easy prior to this .i have a little red wire...- triverrat

where is this wire suppost to go to?
i have a red wire small one hooked to the poss terminal of my drivers side battery and the other end came off from what ever it had been hooked to,now my truck f350 super duty 4x4 one ton 6.9 1987 will turn over but wont start.i didnt notice the wire when it came off so i dont know where it...- triverrat
