    OBS Overheat!!!!

You could have a cracked cup or two but would most likely see or smell fuel in your degass bottle but not always. Two ways to test for combustion leaks into and out of your cooling system. The first you want to try cold and hot and that is to put a coolant pressure tester on you system and start...

    Need mechanic in Spokane area

What do you mean by winterization? Do you want a block heater installed? Or are you talking a full on winterization like they do in Alaska i.e. block heater or perk heater, battery(s) heater, oil pan heater and trans pan heater? Sent from my Mediatek MTK8173 Chromebook using Tapatalk

    Thermostat Housing Question.

Could be for a coolant filter or a bypass. I've seen a few IDI industrial diesels of various flavors and vintages that have coolant filters

I pressure tested the cooling system. Had a 1/2 psi drop for 30 minutes and found two minor leaks. Overall I'd say no coolant is leaking into the engine

Yes it had coolant in the rad but none in the overflow. However the lady that owned it did not maintain it very well so that can be looked at either way. When I fist got it started the white smoke was all the time. After a few drives ,aproximitly 60 miles it still smokes when compared of but it...

    Another white smoke thread

The reddish brown stuff is the old fuel, fifteen gallons total. The fuel out of both tanks looked the same. The new stuff is D2 fresh out of the pump, however fresh that is. If it helps I did not find any water in the tanks or in the fuel filter.

    Another white smoke thread

It's kinda dark for off road, more brown than red and seems to be more viscous than any diesel or fuel oil I've encountered. I've ran it about 80 miles since dropping the tanks. filled up the front tank and put 10 gallons in the rear tank, I've been running off the front tank but ran off the...

    Another white smoke thread

I'm new to the forum, Hi, Howdy, How ya'll doin. I just purchased a 1988 F250 7.3IDI with an alleged 68K on the clock. It was not running when I bought, finally got it running but I have a white smoke issue. The truck has been sitting for a while with the occasional (yearly) trip to the dump, it...
