Would a bad throttle cable make the TPS throw a code
Pretty much in the title :) But the red plastic piece, in the spring, that sits over the black cable housing is in a couple of pieces. When I was trying to test TPS through the range the cable bent in half at the point where the two aforementioned plastic pieces met..... Mind you the pedal pulls...- LittleLucy27

Thanks folks!! I thought it looked like crud in there......thanks! Just wasn't willing to go there without some form of confirmation...... I'm really short I have a really bad neck Which causes weakness in the upper body and considerable pain Therefore I have to go at a task with a plan )...- LittleLucy27

Hi all So I ran codes and the TPS came up I am trying to get it off to clean/replace The screws are weird I've tried everything and nothing seems to grab I've spent hours searching with nothing helpful coming up Any udeas? 1991 f250 7.3 idi na- LittleLucy27

I have a 1991 F250 4x4 7.3 IDI with supposedly >50k on a rebuilt motor The e4od trans is leaking from the pump seal It has other symptoms, so let's assume it needs a full rebuild. Quoted with better parts based on needs from$2500-$3000 The motor sounds good and seems strong My question...- LittleLucy27
