    No start After motor swap

    Yep got it started thanks for all the help. I turned out to be the stupid key. The key I had would crank it but it would never fire up. So I towed it to the dealer behind my FORD and had a key made. It started after only half a trun of the Motor. Thanks again for all your help.

    I also have a mech oil press guage and used the 1/8 copper line to run mine and have not had a problem with it. The plastic stuff is crap and should just be kept as spare for the boost guage if you have one but I would never trust it with oil in it.

    Just some food for thought on the five lug to eight lug conversion but I believe that some early 80's f250's 4x4's actually used dana 44 ttb front axles with eight lug hubs instead of the more common dana 50 found in many trucks.

    Ah yes the darkside does pull in many but I have yet to a person go to the darkside and then come back. I sold my 97 stroke to buy my 88 IDI and could not be happier.
