    Stabbin Cabin build-log

I will say this about the ZF-6... It's my absolute favorite tranny, ever. In fact, it's so good, GM used it for the Duramax manual option.

    Stabbin Cabin build-log

I've got a $1 that says he did that more to circumvent the hub-centric out-put of that t-case.... My Expy has a vibration due to 6 states fu**ing up the shaft 3 out of 3 times, with the Hub centric coupler given to them, 3 out of three times.

    Sir Axlerod.

the more I look at the gearing spread of the NP435, I loop back to it time and time again. it works really well, like DAYUMM! well with a 3200 rpm shift point, dropping back to 1800 for the next gear. Would seem to me, that as an NA rig, the slightly higher rpm would aid me in going down the...

    Sir Axlerod.

    So according to GrimmJeeeper.com, if I go with my NP435 3.73's and a 41" tire, I'm 24xx rpm at 80. If I go with a 37" tire, and a ZF-6, with my 3.73's, I'm 19xx rpm at 80. Is it worth the $2800 entry fee to get into a ZF and t-case for a 400~ rpm gain at 80, especially at a 2" ground...

    6.9 turbo in a 2003 f250?

I did, and I do, I'll pull them up and come back here with an edit. As far as I know, I'm one of three Manuel Trannie Expy's. the ZF-5 Douchenozzle (HAVE TO HAVE a body lift, blah blah blah..... FML) and then a cat who copied me in a 2nd gen. More of a plug and play swap, that stuffing...

compression question for possible 6.9 build

Wasn't in any way taking away from the Knowledge of the Grand Poo-Bahs of this forum, the are a chief part of the reason I am here. I do think, that fresh ideas could be slightly more welcomed... It's your money, if you have the $8k to piss away on the R&D diesel site, building a 400/800 6.9...

RT610 RT-610 Eaton Fuller 10 speed Transmission $400 Modesto CA area

just played with one of these on grimmjeeper.com.. with anything other than a 2:1 t-case, they are impressive, but the road shifting, aye-eee... 1st, 3rd. 7th 10th was about the rpm split. Still pretty sprung, just gotta figure out the logistics, and spend more time on the GJ site.

    6.9 turbo in a 2003 f250?

you'd lose your speedo, the VSS feeds off the t-case. I'd find a Duramax/8.1 ZF-6, they have a divorceable bell housing, (GM also has a driver drop t-case, and a similar model number for the t-case) and then run the NP435/t-19 Bell, attached to it, the ZF is sex. everything should be...
