Advise on which to buy IH or Chevy Kodiak please help!
I have asked myself, but I don't know the answer, it has driven 35,000 since then, was hoping someone here would say cam is replaced often and not to worry.- heffs

IH code 242
I'm looking at buying a 2007 IH 4300 with a DT466 it currently has the code 242 lite up on dash, is this something to be worried about, also maintenance records indicate it has had the cam shaft replaced what is involved with that? Thanks, Brian- heffs

Hello, Newbie here, I had a 96 IH 4700 w/444 engine cab caught on fire it's now trashed bought it new not many problems. Now I'm replacing it I'm using it for my roofing business 26000 GVW will be driven twice a day to the job in the morning (after dumping it) and back to the shop at night...- heffs
