Couple questions for you.
My heat works well, but if I switch to floor, it blows cold air. Is this a bending problem, or is there something else up with it?
And my front fuel tank won't fill up, it acts like it's full, but my gauge says it's empty when I switch to the front...
Kind of simple, but check your coolant level while cold. Make sure it's full. I had a radiator leak, and the coolant was low, when I kept it topped off, it heated up faster, and you could always plug it in.
I'd like to get a pic up, just too darn cold here, been in the teens and hit 0° the other day. I'll try and get one.
I don't think it has a dealer name or date, but part of it is coming off too.
Just thought it was odd. Did a google search for a pic but nothing popped up.
I cleaned up my engine and found a blue sticker on the passenger valve cover that says Ford Quality Re-manufactured on it. I'm guessing that means the engine was rebuilt or replaced? Is there a way to find record of what was done through Ford?
Anyone else see these?

Got the alt tested last night, everything passed with flying colors. Then they did a load test. With everything off I have a 14.7 ish amp draw! They suggested the starter solenoid was going bad. Does that sound about right?
I found some BW injectors brand new in town for 36$ each. Not remanned.... I think he said bw.... they are at advanced auto parts. Are these decent? 300$ for 8 isn't bad...

Thanks! Can I stick with the stock injectors for my setup? It only runs around 6 psi if I'm pulling a good hill, don't want crazy power, I'm ok with where it's at now.
Is there a write up on pulling injectors? Just want to make sure I know what I'm getting into before I mess with a 2000...
Is R&D a reputable company? I know getting rebuilt injectors isn't the best idea, but the cost is decent. I'd rather have the moose injectors and ip, just need more time to buy them.
You think I could just slap a new injector ring, o-rings and cap on that 1 injector to buy some time...
Oilbuner gurus! I need your help please.
Went to leave work tonight, started the truck up, after gp's warmed up and the engine started surging pretty hard core . Tried to give it gas, fell flat on it's face with a little gas pedal. Shut it off, waited a second and started again, no surge...
I would guess it would be expensive, and injector cleaner isn't that expensive, but I guess if it works better it's worth the extra cost. You could always contact the maker of clp and ask. They have chemists that know the effects of the product. But in my experience, clp would soften up some...
So, all the steering issues I have heard of are about wandering and play left to right. But my steering wheel is sort of hanging out of the column and drooping. If you push the wheel toward the engine bay, it will square up and the "clock spring" pins drop into the contact track, and steering...
Well, I'm glad I did the glow plugs! They were all pretty loose, and they were autolites, so I got the motorcrafts installed, did the fuel filter (filled it with diesel kleen) and I am going to build a better intake system and figure out a solution for the cdr. Tomorrow I'll finish painting it...

The cdr is the oil separator correct? The tube from that to the airbox is kinda broken, and it looked like it leaked oil all over the top of the engine....
I'll have to check it with an indicator, I'd guess maybe a little over 1/16" total play from one side to the other, but that was just by hand guessing. Is there a spec as far as play is concerned?
