    Starts then dies

    New lift pump this week b/c the elec quit after she ran out of fuel when I started her for the first time she showed 6 psi haven't tested since, now she'll start but dies after 1-5 minutes, also had IP & injectors 6 months ago, new "O" rings but reused the caps since they were only a year old...

    which wire?

    on the starter switch feeds power to the solinoid when the key is turned all the way to start is it the lowest one on the switch down on the lower column?

    cold idle sol

    while my pump was out I looked at the cold idle sol & the little rod the pushes on the throttle linkage moves in & out freely is this right?

    help injectors

    P.O. had over tightened #6 took about 150# +/- to get het out covered in rust & etc but dry & feel off into hole can I crank over by hand with pump out to push debris out of hole # 6. all inj are out.

    looking at a set of new delphi brand injectors about 20$ each is this a good brand ?

    injection pumps?

    tag on my motor is missing is i dont know if its a 165hp or a 185hp is there a problem if I put a 185 pump on it?

    fuel pump

    anyone have any experince with a procomp "red" #2801 fuel pump saw it on ebay?

    no start w/key

    turn key big volt drop no crank but jump accros solinoid cranks & starts. put my finger on the rod at the switch on the lower collumn & it is working so i put a new sol. in & still no start is the new sol. bad ?
