Extra power, then died?

What did my truck cost new?
Im just curious. I have a '90 XLT Lariat ext cab 4x4. About how much would it have cost at the dealership 25 years ago? I just spec'd out a '15 equivalent to mine and it was just under $63k :eek:- Mike-M

Who can identify this transmission part? T18 or possibly T19
Im assembling a T18 that I took apart many months ago, and I have a piece left over. I dont remember removing it, and I dont see it anywhere on my diagram. The button you have to push to get the key out
What is the proper name for it? And more importantly, Is there any good reason not to disable or remove it? My steering column is already apart right now so it'd be real easy to rig that thing up.- Mike-M

Brake light out. Turn signal switch?

Rear shock mount removal question
Im replacing my right rear upper shock mount. Got a replacement from Doorman, happy to see it uses bolts. So I cut the heads off the old bolts or rivets (I cant tell, rust) on the outside of the frame with a wheel, and grind it flat. Then I was expecting to force the bolts/rivets through...- Mike-M

5 injector caps just started leaking at the same time
Before winter, I had 1 leak coming from the bottom of a cap, I figured o rings. Didnt run it for a few months due to glow plug issues and when I started it up finally, 5 more injector caps are leaking. The new 5 are leaking out the tops of the caps rather than the bottom. Can I fill my 1356 through the speedo drive hole?
The fill plug is mangled to the point where its never coming out again. If I pour the fluid into the speedometer hole real slow, will it get into the rest of the tcase? I remember seeing 3 extra holes in the case where the tail housing bolts on.- Mike-M

I just assembled my new ZF5 using my idi S5-42 case, gears and tail from a 460 S5-47, and a bearing shim from a friends parts box (he used to own a tranny shop). How do I get the bolt behind the down pipe?
Im taking my ZF5 out. I had no problem with the other 5 bolts holding it to the engine, but im stumped on the one thats hiding behind the down pipe. Is there some trick to it? I see posts where guys claim they can swap trannys in a couple hours, ive been on this bolt most of the day...- Mike-M

Lost 5th, or my T case is popping out of gear, or both?
